Cedar Cliff com- pleted a difficult and timely self-evaluation. A visiting committee, selected by the Commission on Secondary Schools. spent three days ex- amining Cedar Cliff's self- evaluation in terms of its philosophy and objectives and according to the extent to which the school meets needs of students and the community. From obser- vations made, the committee expressed twelve specific commendations and three recommendations. Evalua- tions are conducted every ten years by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools.

This year's competition play Was The Boot, a farce by Chekhov. It was presented at Cedar Cliff on Saturday, January 27, and starred Nancy Kraft, Dave Cox, and Brian Stoppe. The play com- peted with six others in the District Six Drama Festival. hosted this year by Cedar Cliff. Mrs. Juditz Was faculty producer and director, While Helene Christopher served as student director, and John Uehlein was musician.
