Carol Ftinehimer, Sue Wise, Betsy Harro, and Kathy Fawberg SECOND ROW: Festival took place this year on November 25, 1966, at the Zembo Mosque. Attracting a record-breaking crowd was a Twenty-two schools were pre- sent at the event, each repre- F sented by a queen. C.C.'s sparkling queen, Debby Sees, was escorted by Larry Albert. Also representing Cedar Cliff, inthetalent division, were the Castaways. This folk group performed in the Tile Room, a new addition for the Youth Festival. The room was de- corated as an ltalian cafe with soft candlelight and red checked tablecloths. Organizing all these fes- tivities was the Youth Festival Committee, consisting of mem- A bers from each school. g .3 -L of Forward for Fenwick! Tully commands as his army invades New York City. On November 17 and 18 the C,C. curtain rose to reveal the imaginary Duchy of Grand Fenwick, as the Junior Class presented its initial dramatic venture, The Mouse That Fioaredj' The play, directed by Mr. Earl Mcfane, con- cerned a tiny nation that declared war on the United States because a company in California was duplicating its wine. Bedecked in medieval armor, the army of Grand Fenwick invaded New York City and obtained possession of the destructive Q bomb. Giving outstanding performances were Bill Corlett in his portrayal of Tully Bascom, Jessica Klingman as Gloriana, Flick George as Count Nlountjoy, and Ed Steele as David Benter. The student director and announcer was Terry Horley. The President's crucial question: What has become of Professor Koklntz and the deadly Q bomb?
