'PW are MDM, miami, November 18, 1955, was an exciting evening for a group of seniors as they prepared to stage the comedy, Take Your Medicine . The story revolved around a grouchy, old man who was being admitted to a hospital for a rest. His niece created many delightful inci- dents as she led him to believe that she was marrying a medical doctor instead of a college professor. The many amus- ing incidents helped to make the play the great success that it was. Seated: Cleft to Rightl Patricia Patnesky, Marlene Meade. AL-aa-fu gm The Tri-Hi-Y is composed of girls from the senior, junior, and sophomore classes. It was established for the following purposes: To create, maintain, and extend throughout the school and community, high standards of Christian char- acter. The members and their sponsors, Mrs. Wilson and Miss Resciniti, faith- fully attended the meetings held every Tuesday during the activity period where they contributed ideas and plans to make the social school year a success. The club had many projects such as record drives for the blind, Christmas treats for a group of St. Paul orphans, collecting canned foods for the poor on holidays, and other challenges too numerous to mention at this time. To join the club it was necessary for one to be a member of some church, to be of good character and to be an all around student who could bear her share of the responsibilities ofthe club.
