The Junior Class of 1955-56 looks forward to the day when they will proudly take full command as Seniors. They could be well classified as a ready and willing class. Under the encouraging guidance of their advisors, Miss Kathryn Johnston, Mr. Henry Scarton, and Mr. Thomas Stanko, the iuniors planned a suc- cessful year. Eager to lend a helping hand' were the class officers, President, James Camerson, Vice-President, Eugene Kerin, Secretary, Joan Speranza, and Treasurer, Dan Clifford. During their iunior year, reality took its place in each individual's mind. At last the time had arrived for them to receive their most cherished possession-their class rings. What an unforgettable moment! Hands with shiny, new rings were waving everywhere. The iuniors had an opportunity to show how well they could co-operate with each other by holding a Junior Record Dance. Favorite up-to-the-minute pop tunes were played. To them, this is only a preview of what it's like to sponsor a formal dance-The Junior Prom. The juniors worked unrelentingly on this affair since it involved the entire student body. The spirit of out-doing the previous class helped to make the prom a success. The Junior Play which was presented in the spring, allowed each stu- dent to present his acting ability to the play director. The chosen actors worked very hard in order that they would be a success in performing before their fellow students. With the fine work they, as a class, have displayed in the past, it can positively be stated that this year has been an exciting and memorable one for the members of the Junior Class. 32
