Bvwzdngf ' The Board of Education is a group of men cmd women elected to office who try their best to serve the school and the community in every way possible. They serve without compensation and are one of our few local governing bodies. It is the duty of the Board to give thoughtful and careful consideration to any prob- lem which may arise, to provide school buildings, faculty, equip- ment, and supplies, and to maintain an up-to-date educational system. Our present School Board under the leadership of John Quinn has strived untiringly and unselfishly to give the students a well-balanced education. An education not only from books, but also one on how to live in the world of today. They are con- tinually trying to improve existing school conditions to make our school second-to-none. This group of men and women have a right to be proud of their achievements and we, the seniors of Cecil High School, would like to take this opportunity to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation. We shall strive to do our best that these thoughtful school directors may not have served in vain. Q 1 r I Seated lleft to Rightl E. M.
