What the world needs from you is that you be thinkers and that you will be doers. A rebirth of individual initiative and a willingness to participate in civic affairs, in groups who are endeavoring to solve the social and welfare needs of our communities: is a charge to each ot you. The duty of the stronger to protect the weaker, the recognition of the common destiny of peo- ple on this earth, should become part of your living, both in thought and deed. We still tind women in large segments of our population uninvolved in the intellectual, polit- ical and social programs of today. They will have done well in college, but lack the achieve- ments in carrying their knowledge into lite. Achievement calls tor persistent effort.

Yearbooks are traditionally constructed of memories. Your Editors have chosen a theme which stresses the future, however, while still recording precious memories of the past.
