Every effort is made to see that penalties are just and appropriate to the offense and to the students whose cases are being deliberated. The spirit of the law is always considered along with the letter of the law. The members face each case with an open mind, taking every circumstance into account. This year our aim has been to formulate rules which will not only maintain the high moral standards of the college but will also help each of us become a better citizen of the community after we leave C. j. The Inter-faith Council's main purposes are to promote a better understand- ing and unity among the students of different faiths and to develop spiritual life on campus. The functions of the Inter-faith Council are to organize and plan chapel programs, take charge of the Lost and Found Department, and is the sponsor of the Inter-faith Council Christmas Tea. They are able to sing all types of music from Bach to blues.
