The class members were, Glen Lewallen, Duane Latham, Janette Myers, Robert Brock, Dorothy Shane, Jim Euser, Valeta Kohn, Raymond Koster, Edgar Wagner, George Weeks, Eldon Wooton, Ruth Sibley and Gary Merrill. The class officers were: President, Eldon: Sec- retary, Treasurer, Janette: and Student Council representatives, Jim, George, Valeta and Dorothy. Our biggest event of the year was the Freshman initiation which was held Sep- tember the 14th. We elected as our sponsor Miss Donna Powell. The Sophomore year found one of our class- mates was missing. We later discovered that Gary had moved. We chose as our class officers: Valeta, President: Janette, Vice President: Dorothy, Secretary: Eldon, Treasurer: and George, Reporter: and as our sponsor, Mr. Nolte-. Our big event was sponsoring the an- nual Chrlstmas Dance. Our Junior year found the class roll had in- creased to fourteen. Gary had again entered our class. Mr. Nolte was chosen as our spon- sor. Among our projects were the play 'Closed Lips , the magazine subscription drive, the Valentine Dance and we honored the Seniors with a spring banquet. George was elected President: Glen, Vice President: Robert, Secretary: Eldon, Treasurer: and Duane, Re- porter. September Sth found 18 seniors walking up the walk to good old C.C.H.S. for the last year. Betty Wood, Bill Barnett and Jim Pettit joined our class. We gave our class play 'Cheaper By The Dozen , which was a huge success. Mr. Nolte was again our sponsor. One of our senior trips was a tour of Boeing Aircraft Plant of Wichita.
