Prophecy While touring the Army camps with a U S O troop during the recent war, I was somewhat surprised at Ft Sill, Okla to find Bill Logan as coach of the basketball team there I was talking to Bill, he told me where some more of our old classmates were When I told him I was going to Great Lakes Naval Base to entertain next, he told me, I would be surc to see Mar ie Conn who is a Navy nurse at the base hospital t one of the stops, our troop, before launching our show, decided to take in a movie To my complete surprise there stood Gerald Burklow, who ushered us to our seats after a short conver ation He told me to be sure and watch the newsreel as two old classmates of ours were to be in it Of course, I had heard of the new sport, women boxing, but I never dreamed I'd see any of my classmates at this pro fession As the faces of Jeanne Page and Mary otariwat flashed over the screen, the commentator told of their boxing for the feather weight championship When the troop arrived at Great Lakes, they were met by the wife of Admiral Douglas, who was formerly Miss Imogene Cox She asked us to her home and showed us the pictures of two adorable children The son of Dorothy and Elbert Rendleman, and the dauehter of Berneice and im Prather Our troop decided to go overseas and I, keeping in touch 3 days to visit her and the Rev Scott and their lovely set of twins, Jim and Judy Mrs Scott decided to Jo on to Korea and play the piano for one of our acts There, we met the chaplain, none other than James Wootton While we were putting on the show Jenny Lou happened to look across the crowded and spied Imogene Drumm in an attractive v A A C uniform After the show a sudden air raid sent us scrampering for a fox hole I noticed I was in a foxhole with a female but not until after the air raid did I notice it was Donna Tanner, the impish member of our Senior play, The Eager Miss Beaver To us U S O entertainers Korea was a pretty terrible place so we decided to FO to Paris before we started back to the U S The women of the troop, after a good n1ght's rest in a Paris Hotel, decided to take in a Paris Hotel, decided to take in a fashion show As we arrived at the place before the showing of the gowns, we noticed a very nice looking young man seated very close to the front We soon learned that his name was Charles Cox and he was the buyer of a famous New York firm 0 I .
