Renwick. The Girls' Athletic Association had a good attendance for its Thursday night meetings. Throughout the year the classes competed in volleyball, basketball, square-dancing, and softball with two teams per class. Individual c A A . 0 Q . members contested in exercising, tumbling, and badminton On April 6, a basketball team of G.A.A. members vied for a trophy during a tourney held at Neche. In a three-game playoff, Cavalier edged out Pembina by a score of 19-18 to remain in contention for the trophy but were narrowly defeated by Neche by two points in a heated overtime. CIENCE CLUB The members of the Science Club are active in promoting and developing science in the school. This year the club sold boxed candy in November to provide funds for the Fifth Annual Local Science Fair which was held during March.
