FIELD DAY X f X The annual Field Day was held on Thursday morning, May 23. There were ten events in which each class could participate. These were volley- ball, softball, 3-legged race, 100 yard dash, 60 yard dash, shuttle relay, rope climb, and the tug-of-war. The juniors were victorious with a score of 36. The freshmen captured second place with 35 points. The sophomores placed third with 30 points and the seniors had 29 points.

SENIOR TRIP fr Q?9,.31.:if-1:- fs 'Q W, 1 1 A 7 ji 4 f'T . Y . f, Lit: If S At 5:00 a.m. May 3 the senior class left to spend their Skip Day in Winnipeg. They visited the Parliament Building, the Cathedral at Saint Bonniface, and the Assiniboine Park Zoo. Many of the seniors spent their free time in the afternoon shopping visiting museums and art galleries, and sight- seeing. At 6:30 p.m. they attended a banquet at the Turf Room of the Paddock. After that they were on their own until midnight when they headed home loaded with souvenirs and memories of a fun-filled day.
