Kihne, Mr. Aafedt tAdvisorj C CLUB The 'C' Club is the lettermen's organization of Cavalier High and its purpose is to promote good sportsmanship through good athletes. Its project this year was to raise money to purchase new football jerseys. The fundraising Sports Jamboree it sponsored included numerous basketball games and tram- poline exhibitions. Members also sold concessions at home basketball games. A senior trip was initiated this year as a membership incentive. Those eligible to participate are all senior boys who have earned at least two letters. This year eight boys went to Minot March 14-16 for the state Class 'B' tournaments and from their comments had a very good time! Also in this year's calendar was the annual father and son Award's Banquet sponsored by the Civic Club. The girls work energetically to earn points and thereby earn a pin or a letter. To earn points they participate in the most popular seasonal sports which this year included a basketball tournament with neighboring towns and the benefit sports jamboree.
