BA D HE BAND of over 80 pleces rs ln Mr Gullo s estlmatlon the best band he has ever had The contest numbers thls year were exceptlonally fine muslcally and were very dlfhcult The band recelved a II rating at Fredonia and a II plus at the state contest placlng thlrd out of seventeen schools com petmg We conslder thls commendable when we thmk of the number of really fine bands that we beat Sectlonal practlce was glven to the clarlnets and trumpets and It proved Two new tlmpano drums w ere secured thls year MARION STOFFEL 38 to be worth while.
