EL SS UP 1949 as L Juniors: lstziev- Smith, Ghlkias, Baveuport, lesion, falter, 2:4 Bow- Yanloetrand, Qminell, Southard, Delaney, Yanlostraad, Leegel, Horn, Blanchard, Viggeas, Pitts, Ialdria. Std, lol- Deloitte, YaaPattea, Reynolds, Ball, VhuDoran, Cook, Lynch, lischen, Veley, Davenport, Warden, Halstead, tells, Bishop. The Class of '49 started its high school career in 1945 under the supervlson of Mr. Sturge and Mrs. Walters. Our class officers were William Fairbanks, president, Jean Delaney, v1ce-pres1dent5 Barbara Horn, secretary, Nancy Van Nostrand, treasurer, and Paul Lynch, reporter. We had a dance called 'The Sweetheart Swing' with Keith Smith as chairman. In our Sophomore year we had as advisers, Mrs. Walters and Mr. Allen. Our officers were William Fairbanks, presldentg Keith Smith, vice-president, Charles Ball, secretary, Robert Bishop, treasurer, and Betty Belzer, reporter. We held two movies and a dance entitled 'Fall Time F11ng.' Now in our Junior year, we have as officers, Robert BLBDDPQ president, Barbra Collins, vice-president, Elma Koegel, secretary, and Jean Delaney, treasurer. So far this year we have sponsored one dance and two movies. In the spring we will hold the Senior Ball and another movie. We have also changed the original design of our class rings and have chosen a ring made especially for us. The class of 1950 started off with success in their Freshman year, with two new advisors, Miss Antonacci and Nr. Sturge. Officers for the year were: president, Marjorie Halstead: vice president, Samue1 Colvin, treasurer, Richard Sears: and secretary, Doris Phinecy. Snowflake Pop, our first attempt to make money, was vary successful. In the spring we decided to sponsor another dance, nMay Time Fantasy,h another successful event This year it makes us feel big to be Sopromores with only two more years to so. With our advisors, Miss Narotta and Nr. Burrinaton, and new officers- president, Ellen hardy, vice president, James Henderson, treasurer, Wanda Dreverrang and secretary, Jean Ann Van Nostrand- we are wel? under way. We have sponsored a fine dance, WGobb1er's Hopn ani a movie, nScatter Good Rides High,' both of which have brought in a tidy profit. This year we have voted to send one 'C.A.P.E.n package each month to some needy family dn Europe. It is a pleasant feeling to know that we are helping at least one famfly.
