In 1884, the Sisters standardized their school. It was di- vided into twelve grades. The old house was then used exclusively as a convent. Father Edward Gatens built an addition to the front of the convent in 1927. The Sisters lived here until January, 1950, when the new convent at 825 Nlaliantongo Street was built by Nlonsignor Joseph Nlccaflrey. The original building is still in use. It houses the library and a sophomore home room. Nlusic and journalism classes and scout activities also are conducted here. CBelow is the old school as it appears todayl H Q 1955
