Our Priesfs Direcf and Guide Us THE RIGHT REVEREND NIONSIGNOR JOHN E. BOYLE. V. F. Pastor of Saint Patrick's Church, Pottsville, Pa. Nlonsignor Boyle assumed the pas- torate of St. Patrick's on March 12, 1953. Before coming to Pottsville, he was the Director of the Society for the Propagation of the Faith in the Philadelphia Archdiocese. In this of- fice he was noted for his skill in or- ganization, his administrative ability, and his zeal for the extension of the Holy Father's Mission Program. Dur- ing the short time Nlonsignor Boyle has been with us, he has exercised towards us the offices of a zealous pastor, prudent counselor, and spirit- ual guide. He has directed us and encouraged us in all our undertak- ings, fostering our hopes, and inspir- ing our deeds. As a faithful friend, Monsignor supports our athletic and social programs and our educational activities. We are privileged to have him for our pastor.
