Parents' Clubs Aid School The Mothers' Club a-nd Panther Club have always provided immense assistance to the functioning of Catholic High, and 1967 -68 was certainly no exception. The two organizations' encouragement, both moral and material, to the scho- lastic and extra -curricular programs of the school was an important factor in the success of these endeavors this year. Presidents of the two clubs, Mr. Donald Blanchard and Mrs. Roy Indest, discuss plans for joint projects. Many interested parents of CHS students attended a joint meeting of the Panther and Mothers' clubs which adopted a policy of support for the Citizens for Edu- cational Freedom committee in their effort to obtain state funds for use in pri- vate schools. Dr. L. O. Broussard of New Iberia speaks to the joint meeting of the Panther and Mothers' clubs in the school library regarding their sup- port for the CEF program.
