CHS Staff Is Sensational The offices of Catholic High were staffed by a hardworking group of individuals who worked together to keep the school running smoothly from day to day. Secretaries Mahalia Bynum, Kaye Douget, Pat Hanegan, and Jan Jennings typed memos, attendance reports, newsletters, calendars and more, in addition to their other duties. Mrs. Guidry and Mrs. Barber kept busy balancing the books, keeping records of the various clubs’ financial transactions, selling tickets and setting up coin boxes. In addition to their other responsibilities. Director of Development, Brother Donnan Berry, S.C., and Athletic Director, Pete Boudreaux, had the rewarding task of overseeing the finishing touches and completion of the Catholic High School track facility. The entire school community worked together to see this project become a reality. ABOVE: Mrs. Kaye Douget Registrar, Attendance. Cafeteria and Maintenance Staffs Are Invaluable At 12:00 a.m., when the members of the student body were cither asleep or cramming for an exam, the Wright brothers along with Mr. Dwight Costin were in the cafeteria cleaning up the refuse left during two lunch periods and a Monday night Men’s Club Bingo. The results of their work were witnessed by the students when they entered the immaculately cleaned cafeteria in search of breakfast. Mrs. Mary Lou James, her workers, and volunteer mothers all helped to prepare breakfast, snacks and lunch for the students to devour during the day. Brother Ramon, assisted by Richard Gaudin and Paul Selleck, busied themselves with the chores of maintaining the campus. When they needed additional help they drafted some of those students invited to Saturday school.
