KEEPING A WATCHFUI. EYE on the water level in the beaker as they prepare chlorine gas, are iunior chemists David Sadlier, Eileen Murray, Beverly Brim. Did you notice some of the odd odors that drifted through the halls this year? Junior chemists supplied the simple answer: FeS HgSO5,FeSO4AH3SA, better known to you as that rotten-egg gas. lt your eyes suddenly began to water, it was chlorine vapors that caused your tears. Because of the rapid changes in science, the new, revised edition of The New World of Chemistry was used. Students combined twice-weekly lab experiments and lectures to analyze the earth's elements. Members of the five science classes entered proiects in the annual Science Fair held in the spring. Prize- winners then participated for the first time in the regional contest held at Bowling Green University. iemflazfa twig 241254 '4 laureate AND THIS DIAGRAM shows the structure of a tooth, points out Mimi Canny to Patty Glaser as they view an exhibit at the Science Fair. lxldblll, llikxljlii all , .A 0 Me- , -r'g,,'
