As we turn the pages of the book, we will meet in pictures, the members of the faculty, our classmates, and friends. VVe will review again the athletic prowess of our football team and track squad. We will fondly recall those big dances, the mixers, and Gala Nite. We will remember our classes, our moments on the 9'drag, and just plain fun. Most of all, we will recall the mysteries of our revered faith, as explained by our Most Reverend Bishop Haas on various occasions, and by our instructors. We have dedicated our book to the Church 'in its Holy Year, and we have followed that year through, season by season. If, in some year in the future, a dusty copy of the Spire: will recall to you the year 1950, and reproduce the atmosphere described above, then it has served its purpose. So read on ....
