The Catholic Central baseball forces hit the diamonds and basepaths with a mighty display of talent that beckoned the willing and capable hands of Coach lack Young, who moulded the l946 edition of Cougars into a forcible, efficient, strong, dreaded, baseball aggregation. The diamond-minded Cougars who were run- ner-up's in the City League race last year, are at their strongest 'through the middle' as they have a highly talented back-stopper in the person of veteran catcher Ray Przybysz and his battery mates were Tony Markarewicz, Lyle Morrison and Roman Boruta who formed a Winning combina- BASEBALL SCHEDULE April 9 Catholic . . , . , .,,. ..... ....,.,.. Bolstered by Bob Sullivan Who has one of the best 'Wings' on the ball field,and Chuck Boggiano, the infield, did their part in making the 'twin C.' team what it was. The outfield Was clustered with sluggers that slapped that 'pellet' over all the local fences.
