Class Poem 9 lVe pause in the rush - so long it's been ours, The constantly moving four years, Ufe've spent in this, the school of our choice - The school which each one reveres. ff s freshies and sophomores, we found that we were So innocent - helpless, as one Wfho, prisoned for life and doomed to fate, Ufould gaze at the rising sun. ' lVe are not aware that our happiest years Are already on their way, Ufe feel, oh, so burdened, and still quite afraid - A-waiting a more joyous day. Als juniors together - so proud we became, Our heads and our chests carried high, Like peacochs we strutted, our feathers displayed, Ever eager for flattering cries. lVe realize now as never before That definite plans we must choose. .dnd now we foresee that once at the top One has nothing to gain - much to lose.
