Text from Pages 1 - 96 of the 1966 volume:

DEDICATION Birth in Spring, Growth in Summer, Realization in Fall, and Maturity in Winter. We began with the look and feeling of wonder; we gradually grew accustomed to the path we had to take; we followed this path with sincerity, excitement, bewilderment, and hope. We reached the end of the everwinding path and we dis - covered the one thing we strove so many years to achieve--the realization that-- I am me. In this way, we, the class of '66, attained our goal. For this reason we dedicate our ROCKALITE to you and to ourselves; to every person who is concerned enough to ask the question: Who Am I? ; to you who have the courage to break from the crowd to strike a new and more difficult path, to you who value your own qualities and ideals above those set by the world, to you who develop yourself as a distinct personality, to you who eventually find yourself and the significance of your ex- istence . May you have the courage to accept this challenge to become who you are, who you were meant to be. HIS HOLINESS POPE PAUL VI THE REVEREND JOHNJ. The Rockalite Staff of 1966 wishes to express appreciation to school photog- rapher, Mr. Robert Devine, who died November 27, 1965. He was a man who achieved the goal of becoming one with himself, capable of making a significant contribution to his family, friends, and the world. A man dedicated to his work, Mr. Devine possessed a great love for people and the patience necessary to show them at their best in the pictures he took. His clear eye for attractive and natural photographs contributed to the success of the ROCKALITE for many years. He also stands as a striking example of a true person who has found him- self and his place in society. May our relationship with him inspire us all to find ourselves and the meaning of our individual existence. 81 SPONSORS The following organizations and business firms have sponsored pages in our yearbook.
