Muggsie was a member of the bas- ketball team for four years. He enjoys hunting and fishing in his spare time. Enjoying life to the fullest seems to be his main am- bition. He plans to attend trade school. Pat is an amiable member of our class. He enjoys hunting; however, working at Dee Motor Co. takes up most of Pat's time. He is sure to be successful in the field of forestry which is his main interest. Always ready with a laugh and the newest dances, Mary Pat served on the ROCKALITE staff, on the stage crews and as G. A. C. Treasurer her senior year. She enjoys play- JOHN CORRIGAN ing soft ball, camping, and sewing. She plans to attend college. Jack, whose favorite pastime is playing the piano and the organ, has won superior ratings at the State Music Festivals. In his junior year he served as Business Manager for the ROCKALITE. Next year Jack will be busy at college. PATRICK KENNY MARIANNE BLODNICK 10 Friendly and well-liked best describes Marianne. Serving as Vice-President of the G. A. C. and singing in the Starlites took up most of her time in Senior year. As a Junior, Marianne displayed her acting ability in I Remember Mama. Her plans include college. Only her hairdresser knows for sure. Margie certainly keeps us guessing.. . Margie was an active member of the G. A.C. , and the ROCKAUTE staff. Camping and softball are her favorite pastimes. She received a business education award as a junior and plans to further her business education. Quiet and likeable Mike enjoyed many school func- tions and participated ac- tively in intramural sports. He states that being in the paddle club was most enjoyable. His destination next year is college. MARY CLAIRE HAFFEY Peppy and friendly Mary Claire served Central as our Student Council Secretary. Mary Claire also showed her leadership capability by serving as vice- president of her junior class. This talented Starlite was a member of the S.C.A. C. panel. Her experience as a Candy Striper will insure her sucess as a nurse. MICHAEL FINNEGAN MARY PATRICIA LAKEL 11 Highlighting Har's school years were his letters both in football and basketball. Well liked by everyone, Har could always be found where the fun was. His future definitely includes college. Always on the go and ready for a good time, pert Mary Pat topped off her four years at Central by being a peppy cheerleader her senior year. Listening to Summer Place, eating spaghetti and collect- ing toy giraffes occupy most of Mary Pat's spare time. She is planning a secretarial career. Mike is one of Central's outstanding athletes and most popular students. He is our only four-year track letterman. He also letter- ed three times in football and basketball. Mike's leadership ability was shown when he served as sophomore class president; he has served as Student Council representative for three years. Mike also rep- resented Central at Boys' State. Future plans include college. The GAC, TeenDem's, Candy Stripers, stage crews, the Christmas Cantata, all have had claims on Maureen's time. In her spare time she enjoys water skiing. Because of her friend- liness and cheerfulness, Maureen's future looks promising. KATHLEEN MEEHAN Adding spark to conversation Kathy helped create a friendly atmosphere. A participant in the Christmas Cantata, a rep- resentative of the GAC, a Candy Striper, a member of Sodality and of the ROC KALITE staff, Kathy gave time gener- ously. High on her list of favorites is listening to records. Future plans include nursing at Saint Patrick's Hospital. MAUREEN JOHNSON JOSEPH BEAUSOLEIL 12 Rosie's friendliness and won- derful sense of humor account for her popularity. A member of Sodality and of Starlites, she actively served the GAC as a representative for three years. She plans a nursing career. A favorite of all his class- mates, Joe was president of Sodality, a two-year member of the SCAC panel and the lighting man for many school plays. He lent his time unselfishly to the Junior Prom and the Christmas Cantata. The speech meet and intramural basketball occupied much of his spare time. Joe plans to be a math teacher. Witty and well-liked is Pode. He was a football letterman and a member of the track team. As a senior, Bill served as a Student Council representative. In his spare time he enjoys hunting and fishing. Bill plans a career in the field of science. Bill who is always ready for a good time spent many fun- filied days at Central. He realized, however, the necessity for study and he worked hard to maintain good grades. His favorite pastimes are hunting and fishing. Bill is planning a career in forestry. Mike, called Tony by almost everyone, enjoys hunting and fishing. He belonged to the ELLEN McCarthy Paddle Club, helped on the stage crew, and took part in the Christmas Cantata and I Remember Mama. Mike is one of the out- standing members of the Poachers Club of Anaconda. He plans to attend college next fall. A favorite among her classmates, Ellen’s wit has won her many friends. She was elected secretary of the G. A. C. and served as G. A. C. representative for two years. Ellen was also a member of Sodality and of the cast of I Remember Mama. Although she has many interests, her future plans are indefinite. Tall and sociable best describes Ed. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and he received medals for his shooting. Ed's favorite pastime is listening to records. He would like to do government work in the future. Jackie is an enthusiastic, fun-loving Starlite. Al- though she teaches C. C. D. classes, Jackie still finds time to be an active, hard-working, dependable member of the ROC KALITE staff and Teen Democrats. She was also a G. A. C. alternate and participated in many school functions. Further plans include college. Bob, witty and a favorite entertainer among his classmates, does have a serious side. He has shown his skill on the basketball court and has participated in the Christmas Tableau. Bob hopes to attend college. JACQUELINE McGUIRE KEVIN SULLIVAN EILEEN STOREY Pretty and popular Eileen served our class as Vice-President her freshman year and as Secretary her junior year. She worked capably and earnestly as editor of the ROC HALITE and was a member of the Sodality, G. A.C. , Science Club, Candy Stripers, Student Council. Eileen showed acting talent in the play I Remember Mama . Her future includes college where she will major in Chemistry. ROBERT MEREDITH CAROL KALSCO 14 Kev who is liked by all, rates his three years of foot- ball as tops. He claims his favorite pastime is hanging around the China Cafe with the gang. Kevin will attend college. Carol's charming sense of humor makes her a favorite among her classmates. She was a member of the G. A. C. and Starlites. She finds that high school proved both profitable and enjoyable. Her plans for the future are uncertain but she will bring to her career enthusiasm and a wonderful personality. Talented and well liked best describes Ruthie. She was Freshman Class secretary and Sophomore Class treasurer, represented her school faith- fully and well her Junior and Senior year as a spirited cheer- leader. Ruth was a member of the Starlites, GAC, Sodality, and the Rockalite Staff. She also participated in I Remem- ber Mama, had a science pro- ject her Freshman year, and was a girls' Stater. Her future plans include college. Always ready for a good time, Jack especially enjoys hunting and fishing. As a freshman, he served as manager of the B squad and also played on the football team. He plans a career in Uncle Sam's Navy. JAMES McISAAC Jim, an active member of the Student Council and Sodality, is always ready to lend a helping hand. He claims the highlight of his high school years was representing Central at Boys' State. Tim, a good student with a keen sense of humor, served as Student Council vice- president his Senior year, as Student Council repre- sentative his Junior year, and was also a member of Sodality. Tim lettered in both football and track during his four action packed years at Central. His future plans include college at Gonzaga. Lively, talkative and smiling, Sherry always has a good time wherever she goes. Always generous, she was an active member of Sodality, GAC, and devoted much time as a Candy Striper and Rock- alite Staff member. One of the highlights of her senior year was attending the S.C.A.C. conference. Sherry has put business college on next year's calendar. Ed, a good sportsman, lists his favorite pastimes as hunting, fishing, and archery. He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol, and took part in the Christmas Cantata. He was also a member of the track and football teams. Ed plans to continue his education. Active in the G. A. C. , Sodality, Candy Stripers, and the Teen Dems', Cecelia has used her time well. A member of the Student affiliate of Music Teachers and accompianist for the Starlites, Cecelia received superior ratings at the music festivals. A good student, she plans to attend college. THOMAS McKAY High-spirited and friendly, Tom lent his time to the ski club and poacher's club. He was a member of the track team, enjoyed being a paddle boy, and took part in the Christmas Cantata. His favorite pastimes include hunting and fishing, his favorite expression, O heck, No. Tom jokingly says his greatest ambition is to finish high school. CECILIA FARNSWORTH EDWARD BA RICH 16 Who in our class is an expert horsewoman? Mary Agnes, of course. She rode skillfully to earn the titles of Montana Barrel Racing Champion and All Around Cowgirl at the High School Rodeo. She is a member of Montana Barrel Racers Association, High School Rodeo Club, 4-H, and G. A.C. Her constant and warm smile has won her many friends. Mary Agnes plans to become a history teacher. Ed. who lists sleeping as one of his favorite pastimes, must not be sleeping all of the time. His activities prove this. He played football for two years and participated in the Christmas Cantatas. He was also a member of the stage crews. His future in- cludes college. Tall, keen-minded and articulate, Mike was a member of the Tennis Club. He received an award for scholastic achievement his junior year. He also repre- sented Central at science fairs for three years. Because of his interest in the outdoors, he plans a career in forestry. Jim lent his time to the Saint Peter's choir, Teen Dem's and played on the football and basketball teams. His favorite pas- times include playing the piano. Jim's future plans include college. MARION TOBIN One of Central's best students, Marion directed her interests to both studies and social activities. She was a member of Sodality, G. A. C. , Science Club, the ROCKALITE Staff and was a Candy Striper. Marion also lent her voice to the Starlites and she showed her ability to play the piano at many school functions. She plans to attend college. JAMES LONG WILLIAM CORRIGAN 17 Petite and energetic is Peggy a member of Star- lites, G. A.C. andaC.C.D. student teacher. She enjoys sewing and riding around with the gang . Peggy's sweet disposition and sense of humor has won her many friends. Her future plans are indefinite, but we are sure she will be suc- cessful. Ben, quiet and reserved, enjoys water skiing as his favorite sport. He also likes to ride around in his blue Ford with his friends. Ben served as manager of the basketball team his sophomore year. He plans to attend college in the fall. MARGUERITE SESTRICH ROBERT RUTHERFORD Better known to her class- mates as Raggs , this energetic student was an active member of the Starlites, Science Club, and GAC. Marguerite was honored for her scientific ability by being chosen to participate in the Summer Science Research Program at the University of Wash- ington. An excellent stu- dent, her plans include Medical Technology. One of Central's best play- ers in both basketball and football, Bob finds sports tops. A three year letter- man in football and track and a two year letterman in basketball. He was pick- ed for the All State Con- ference team his senior year. Bob enjoyed his four years of high school and plans to further his education. KATHLEEN KRISKOVICH GAC, Science Club and sacristan duties took up most of Kathy's time. She entered the Science fair with the 'Study of Algae' as her project. She finds math interesting and plans to become a Math Teacher. She enjoys listening to records, hiking, playing the piano, and bowling. Kathy has most enjoyed just being a student at ACHS. JOHN ROBERT MATOSICH JUDY SPANBAUER 18 Quiet, easy-going Robbie is a member of the Amatuer Radio Club. His leisure time is occupied by hunting and working on his car. Perhaps one of these hobbies may determine his still indefinite plans for the future. Bubbling and energetic, Judy spent much of her time harmonizing with the Star- lites and working on the ROC KALITE staff. She was active in GAC, in many ways, including serving as GAC representative her sophomore year. Judy plans to attend Beauty School after graduation. Bill's favorite expression is Tiger, When he is not saying Tiger he is either eating chicken, working on cars, doing homework, or just riding around. When Bill was asked what his future plans would be, he said, You never can tell, but they probably include college. Treasurer of the senior class, Mimi participated in many school activities. She was a member of the Science Club and G. A. C. Starlites played an important role in Mimi's high school days. The superior ratings at state music festivals helped her decide on a career in music. GAYLE KEENAN Gayle, always ready with a smile and a kind word for everyone, worked competently on the ROC KALITE staff and in the Science Club. She was a member of G. A. C. , Sodality, and pres- ident of the Candy Stripers. Gayle was also chosen representative to Girl's State. Next year, Gayle will be busy at college. MARILEE MOE ANDRE ADAMS 19 Ambitious and full of fun, Carol was a vivacious lead- er as president of the G. A. C. Truly worthy of her office as co-captain of the swim team, Carol has won num- erous awards in competitive swimming. Her athletic ability was further display- ed in her participation on girl's softball and basket- ball teams. College is among Carol's future plans. Although he is generally quiet, Andre could be counted on to appreciate classmates' antics. Re- served and easy-going, he enjoys as his favorite sports hunting and fish- ing. Happy-go-lucky Joanne has been active in the GAC, Starlites, and on stage crews. She is a great out- door fan and can often be found playing ball, camping, or just enjoy- ing life. Joanne has won honors at music festivals and at swim meets. Bill, a janitor for two years, helped keep our school in top notch order. His fav- orite pastime is working on cars, dancing, and driving around. Bill plans to go either to Montana State University or to Art Center where he will become an automobile designer. WILLIAM KLOKER Friendly and always ready for a laugh best describes Billy Jo. He showed his athletic skill by par- ticipating in football, basketball and track. As a two year letter- man, Billy Jo was a valuable asset to the football team. His future plans include teaching and coaching. Tom, seemingly shy at first, enjoys meeting people. He spends much of his time working on cars or as a gas station attendant. Although he has no definite plans, Tom would like to run a gas station and develop a good business. Vivacious Kitty served as class secretary her sophomore year and as cheerleader, Junior year. She was a member of GAC, Teen Dem's and she lent her voice to the Starlites. Kitty plans to attend the College of Great Falls next year. Happy-go-lucky, Ed, better known to his friends as Pete” is usually found in the com- pany of the coffee shop gang. He willingly lent his time, effort, and sports ability to the football team. He plans to go to college in the fall. Diane was kept busy during her four years at A. C. H. S. She attended Speech meets and participated in school plays. She was a member of the S.C.A. C. panel and served as Sodality secretary her senior year. She was a member of the G. A. C. and the Teen Dem's Her future plans are to attend Business College. LYNN BROWNING Lynn is an active member of the G. A. C. and the Starlites. Her favorite pastimes include riding around in a convertible and playing records. Her favorite expression is How she go? Christmas shopping in Butte was a higlight of her junior year, long remembered. Lynn hopes to go to Los Angeles where she will attend nursing school, specializing in care of the aged. DIANA FLEMING 21 Bobbie, poised and attrac- tive, lent her voice to the Starlites and was a member of the G. A. C. Her favorite pastimes are riding around and attending football and basketball games. Bobbie plans to travel after grad- uation. Lettering three times in football and twice in track, Loren's four years at Central were high- lighted by his participation in these sports. He claims that hunting and fishing are his favorite pastimes. In the future Loren plans to become a rancher. LOREN VERLANIC A favorite of all his classmates, Bob always enjoys a good time. He is admired for his ability to express himself, both in writing and in speech and he received an N. E. D. T. certificate his sophomore year. He represented Central at the science fairs and played football for two years. Bob will attend college next year. Barb, a very active senior belonged to the GAC, Sodality, the Starlites, and Rockalite Staff. She was a GAC representative in her Sophomore year and Sec- retary of tie Senior class. Barb helped on stage crews for I Remember Mama and Ghost Train. She enjoys water skiing, and her favorite expression is Jewel. Her future plans include college. ROBERT SULLIVAN MARY KAY PIPINICH GREGORY SKAKLES Greg is quiet and reserved in school, less so with his friends. Going to the China cafe with Bill, Bodge, Tim, Kev, Pete, and Sully rates high with Greg. His favorite expression is ebi-debi. He played football and was a two year letterman. College days are ahead. BARBARA LESTER ERIC NELSON 22 Mary Kay, friendly to everyone, claims her fav- orite pastime is having fun. A member of the Teen Dem's, Rockalite Staff, and GAC, she participated in the Christmas Cantata her Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior years, and she was a member of the cast of I Remember Mama. College is definitely in her future plans. Eric is fun to be with and friendly. During his years at Central, Eric has been gener- ous in helping on various committees. He was also a member of Sodality. His favorite pastimes are fishing and working on cars. His ambition is to own a T- Bird someday. Mean- while, he plans to attend a service academy. Sheila, attractive and well- liked, participated in I Remember Mama, was active in the Science Club for three years and a member of GAC, and Teen Dem's. Sheila's plans include college where she will further her interests in Math and Art. Larry, vice-president of his senior class, and a well-liked student, was a member of the track and football teams. He worked at the Washoe Theater in his spare time and served as Student Council repre- sentative his junior year at Central. Larry will attend Carroll College this fall. RICHARD VALENTINI Rick, always seen with a smile on his face, never fails to add laughter to a situation. This well-liked person enjoys hunt- ing and water skiing. During the summer he is always out at the lake with his firends. Rick's favorite expression is Yeah, that's right. Rick plans to continue his education. An outstanding student, National Merit semi-final- ist, winner of the National Council Teachers of English award to outstanding stu- dents of English, Terry has also given service to Cen- tral as President of Student Council, and active mem- ber of Sodality and the Science Club. Assistant Director of I Remember Mama and delegate to Boys' State, Terry plans a career in medicine. Tim, likeable and easy- going, was elected captain of the football team and played two years of basket- ball. He enjoys being with the gang at the China Cafe and took part in the Christ- mas Cantata. Tim will attend college at Dillon this fall. Mickey, popular and a good student, gave spirit to her team as cheerqueen her junior year. She took an active part in GAC and was Student Council represent- ROSEMARY KLOKER ative her senior year. Mickey's ability in swim- ming has helped her to win many awards. It is not sur- prising that her ambition is to become a physical ed- ucation teacher. This seemingly quiet senior is known by his classmates to enjoy a good time. His manner is reserved and al- ways courteous. Ed espec- ially enjoys gopher hunt- ing and being outdoors. Future plans included college. Rosie is happy-go-lucky and full of fun. She can usually be seen cruising the drag in her hot little Nova, especially after Teen Dem's meetings and various school activities. Rosie sang with the Starlites for three years and was an active member of the Science Club. She intends to follow a nursing career. EDWARD RYAN 24 Terry has spent only two years at Central, yet has served as as Student Council representa- tive and as Vice-President of the Science Club. He was a member of Sodality and the Paddle Club. He worked on the ROCKALITE staff and won honors at the science fair. His favorite pastimes include swimming and skiing. Terry plans to continue his work in science. Barb, active in GAC, Teen Dem's, CCD, and Candy Striping, has been kept busy during her years at Central. She played girls' softball and also partici- pated in Christmas Cantatas. Her ambition is to become a teacher. BARBARA SCALISE The Beatles should be glad to have as avid a fan as Ellen. We’re glad to have her as a classmate. This lively bru- nette of the Tracy twins lists her favorite pastime as lis- tening to popular music. Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Her interests also include C. C. D. , Teen Dem's and G. A. C. for which she acted as home- room representative. In the future Ellen plans to be a secretary--maybe even for the Beatles. ROBERTA TRACY Red-headed Ray is known for his friendliness toward all. He played varsity football for two years and partici- pated in school plays. Hunt- ing and fishing are his fav- orite pastimes. Always ready for a joke-that's Bobbie, our Student Council Treasurer. She was co-editor of the ROCKALITE her junior year. Also active in G. A. C., Sodality, Teen Democrats, and Candy Stripers, Bobbie exhibited dramatic talent in school plays and attended speech meets her sophomore and junior years. Bobbie plans to be a teacher. RAYMOND HAFFEY JOHN ROBERT BEATTY 25 Michele, secretary' of the Teen Dem's was a member of the Starlites and of G. A.C. She had roles in I Remember Mama and the Christmas Cantata. Her favorite pastime is water skiing. A fine student, Michele plans to become a history teacher. Well known for his joking manner, Skip is liked by all. He contributed much time to St. Peter's altar boys, Teen Dem's and the junior-senior Sodality. Skip spent long hours on the stage crew of I Remember Mama and he especially enjoys reading and fishing. Future plans include a teaching career. There is a joker in every deck and ours is Bodge. Witty and friendly he became the life of every party, of some classrooms, and the near-death of many teachers. He played football for four years and can usually be found at Bill's with The Boys. He plans to attend college. Always high in spirits, Peggy lived up to the motto, Service with a Smile, She gave her time willing- ly to the Christmas Tableau, Sodality and Sacristan Club. She lists her favorite pastime as sewing. Peggy's plans include college. DONALD PHILLIP Tall, handsome, reserved, Don spent four activity-filled years at Central. He served as class president for two years and his ability and speed helped the Saints on the basketball court. The experience he gained from participating in the science fairs will help him in his career which includes further scienti- fic study. MARGARET HUESTIS JOHN MURPHY 26 Dorothy, in her sweet way impresses all who come in contact with her. She was a member of the G. A. C. and a coach of a volley- ball team. Top on her list of favorite pastimes is sewing. Future plans include either business college or beauty school. Shy? He may seem quiet but John is always ready for fun. Well liked by all and a capable leader, John was Senior class president and president of Sodality his jun- ior year. He was an S. C. A. C. panelist, an altar boy, and he participated in intra-mural basketball for three years. DONEGAN Well liked for his good humor and polite manner, Jack was a member of the Sodality and an alternate representative for the Student Council his senior year.
