Babcock, Bishop of the Diocese of Grand Rapids, who, when speaking to the clergy, nuns, students and parents present, said: The entire Diocese of Grand Rapids reioices with you . . . It is a day that has been looked forward to with such great resolve . . . You have prepared a magnificent school building . . . The material things which you have provided are now solemnly dedicated to God and to the things that pertain to God. Bishop Babcock, accompanied by Rev. V. Gallagher, Rev. T. V. McKenna, Rev. H. Zertas and acolytes, Joe Jensen and Jael Carlson, blesses the entire school.
