There was some cause for rejoicing, how- ever, in the discovery of stellar players. ln the backfield a one man riot squad was developed in the person of Bob Spellacy. Moe Mulholland was an outstanding run- ner in his first year of varsity football running at various times over 50 yards in single touchdown jaunts. Other promising backs were lohn De- Mayo, Bill Allen, George Sogun, and Rich- ard Santilli. On the line, Bob Salancy was a tower of strength, and along with big Tom Gulan, Bon Pawlowski, leep Cafero, and Patsy DeLuca will form a core for next years line. Dr. Brady Sullivan, Line Coach
