In the last year of high school, the seniors felt a sense of being one. The senior rings symbolized that feel- ing. Unlike other schools, our senior rings were all the same. They breed a feeling of unity, not unanimity, Kirk Wilson said. Indeed, they show one- ness in the school and in God. The Mass awakened the seniors to Ring Mass was directed essentially at one class, the seniors. He tried to instill in them a sense of duty to God, themselves, and the school. Overall, the main thing about sen- ior ring Mass is the school tradition. Along with the Mass are the feelings that have been felt by seniors in the past. These feelings bind each senior class over the years to each other. There is a sad realization that high school is nearly over. A sense of unity with past graduates is felt. Although times goes at the same constant speed, the senior year always catches the stu- dent off guard.
