Ev- ery aspect of the school revolves around a central devotion to Christ and His teachings. His Excellency Bishop Andrew J. McDonald supports this ideal. At certain spe- cial occasions. Bishop McDonald enforces the vir- tues instilled by Fa- ther Tribou. Each year he celebrates a Student Body Mass, and every student graduates with his blessings. Even more impor- tantly, he helped celebrate the com- pletion of the new building by giving a formal consecra- tion on October 27. At each of these ceremonies, he en- hanced the overall Christian theme of the school. Yes, Bishop McDonald is a true asset to the school.

A Final End With New Beginnings LWhc-:re Do I Begin? t last Catholic High saw an offi- cial end to the new construction! On October 27, a trium- phant Father Tribou and beaming Bishop Mc- Donald finally tied up the troubles and complica- tions associated with ex- pansion. The dedication - the last step - cele- brated the completion with a blessing mirroring the ground-breaking of over a year earlier. Fa- ther Tribou's dream was fulfilled. With the choir of sen- iors, the band, and the Bishop's speech, the event became a heart- warming celebration, or so a few seniors felt: I most vividly remember Bishop McDonald's in- formative sermon. len- titled Where Do l Be- gin? l - Kyle Echols. I was glad the addi- tions were finally offi- cially completed - es- pecially because that meant no more irritating jack-hammersl - John Campbell. The Bishop's sermon reflected the total sup- port the Catholic con- gregation of Little Rock gives Catholic High. - Paul Crawford. The seniors' job of singing was the most spectacular ensemble of voices ever going to bless that auditorium! - Matt Guise. sei, K ..,k , K 'One moment, please.
