p And Down Season Mars Rambler Record The '77-'78 edition of the Rambler Football team suffered another disappointing season, posting a lowly 3-6 record. Despite the losing record, the Ramblers showed determination and skill in defeating Tech, Bradford, and Academy. Standouts for the Ramblers were All-metro players Dave Curtis, Chris Nowak, Tim Sisinni, Ron Potocki, and Mike Feldman. Rounding out the field were Art Desin, Mark Damico, Dave Ridge, Mike Tighe, Larry Serafin, and Dave Rettger, all playing steady ball throughout the season for the Orange and Black. Next year's edition of the Prep team will see changes following the resignation of head coach Dave Wenrick after three years at the helm. The new Rambler mentor will have returning juniors Ron Luszcak, Andy Penna, Bill Dietz, Pete lntrieri, Mike May, Gary Metzgar, and john Dipre to provide the backbone for what promises to be an exciting season.
