Harriers End Quest With 43 Straight Si 11,- fi'--.di as 1978 graduating seniors Under the leadership of senior captain lim Yount, the Cross Country team completed its most successful season, compiling a record of 16-0 and, in the process, extended its string of dual meet victories to 43-O! Adding to the laurels of their third straight City Series, Metro League, Section One, and District-10 titles, the rambling Ramblers also captured the McDowell Invitational as well as the prestigious Pittsburgh Tri-State Invitational Championship to become the first team of Prep harriers ever to win a major invitational title. With the loss of only three seniors the prospect of an equally talented team appears bright, as returning lettermen Freddie Heintz, Tom Held, Bill Phillips, Marv Wadlington, and Mike Forish seem sure to capture another Triple Crown.
