N 5 'l'he overall responsibility that must be borne to make a play successful falls to the shoulders ofthe director. The Prep drama is no exception. The executive director is Monsignor Robert B. McDonald, who cap- ably supervises the education ofa thousand boys. Monsignor McDonald's work includes a multiplicity ofdetails which may pass unnoticed by the students, for he not only establishes school policy. but he must also sec to it that the whole production is running smoothly at all times. Despite all the duties which he must perform, Mon- signor linds time for the many activities which fill a day at Prep and is always in attendance at school functions. lle is never too busy to talk with a boy seeking his advice. l'repsters will long remember his words of encour- agement at Quarter Sessions, in the classroom, and on the athletic field.
