The drama of life at Cathedral Prep involves a large castg hut as in every drama, the responsibility for success rests mainly with the actor in the leading role. The outstanding figure in the Prep story. then, is the man who made it a reality,-His Excel- lencv. JN rchhishop john Mark Cannon. Archbishop Cannon was determined that his drama would he successful when he assumed the leading role as early as 1921. llc was then. as he is now, a practical man of high ideals. The drama he enacted was his dream ofa school which would train hoys for higher education,-a Cathedral School. llis lixcellenev executed his part perfectly. He founded the Prep School and developed it into the Cathedral Prep we know today, the school which has achieved many-splendored distinc- tion. lndced. we have little to offer to our founder. We can give only our heartfelt thanks to Archbishop John Mark Cannon for providing us with the means of making our own life's drama successful,---hoth lior time and for eternity.
