To them falls he weighty task of keeping the educational wheels noving smoothly and efficiently throughout the chool year. During a student's four years here it befalls them o develop the whole Catholic man: mentally, piritually, socially, and physically. On the morning of September 12, 1958 the entire city of Cleveland was shocked to hear of the death of Reverend Father Thomas H. Bodie, S.1V1., earlier that morning. But toithe student body, the senior class in particular, it meant more than the death of a school president. Rather, it meant the heart-felt loss of a man beloved by the entire school for his untiring efforts to improve his school. When the present senior class first entered Latin in the September of 1955 we saw the need for repair throughout the school. Father Bodie's relentless efforts repaired and repainted the school, built a new faculty house, and constructed the shrines to Father Chaminade and the Blessed Mother. Giving council and advice to all that sought it, Father Bodie was a man whose loss will be truly mourned and whose position was difficult to fill. Through his twenty-Five years as a Marianist and five years as president of Cathedral Latin School, Father Bodie certainly has left his mark in time and gained his place in eternity.
