Pope Pius XII has proclaimed himself the herald of a better world, the head of a movement which is to enlighten man as to his purpose in existing on the face of the earth and to give meaning to everything he undertakes. But this movement cannot be successful with- out the complete and united participation of religious and laity. Since the world will look toward us as Catholics for the leadership and example which they need, we are obligated to ioln in this movement and bring Christ to the areas of the world where only we laymen can exert a Christian influence.
