They range from the Library Staff and the Dance Committee to the Debate Club and the Latineer. Development of the social aspect of its students is the purpose of the large number and variety of activities sponsored by the school. Without them school life would be- come an unexciting routine, and the knowl- edge of human relations would be missing from the curriculum. Extra-curricular activities, therefore, are , l W X n important to high school life. Through debating zz' 't l comes valuable experience for the speech tx of HY course and current events.
