Every Wednesday indus- trious Achiever's meet in the cate- teria to carry out the business of their companies. Junior Achievement came into ex- istence in Cathedral several years ago with a small group of students. This year there were seven com- panies. Various items were produced such as: calendars. shamrocks, cor- sages, and personalized stationery. xi Q-NM Global Geography is being absorbed by all the students of this class. But they know the northern boundary ot the old U. S. A. As the freshmen steps into her official classroom for the first time, a new life begins. Every- thing is so new-the teachers, classmates and surroundings- but perhaps the greatest novelty of all is the freshman curriculum. The very word algebra stikes fear into the bravest Freshman's heart, and Latin is regarded with equal dread. However, the mys- terious X's, Y's and Z's of algebra, and the strange Latin words be- come second nature to Freshmen students. Global Geography pre- sents a few qualms, but science introduces them into a fascinating world of wonders. Though these subjects may have caused much trouble, they have laid a foundation for remain- ing studies, and will always be associated wth the pleasant mem- ories of the unforgettable Fresh- Elizabeth Wilkinson 16081 seems interested in the sight under the microscope. Wonder what it is? The joy and excitement which goes with the first day of high school is often marred by the ribbing of juniors and seniors. Freshman year is one which re- quires great patience and endur- ance. The plight of the freshman will always exist as an integral part of high school life, 26 man year. WZ Zi!!! ,fwgef fffase !Zl?ifl27ll?ly ,flesffmzzfz suoyhcfs. . . Math is the interest and ioy of many girls. These girls got their mathematical start by learning the secrets of elementary algebra.
