-were One of the attractions of which all Cathedralites are proud is o t ur rophy case. Here Joan Madden, Corinne Grim- aldi and Cath ' erine Bartsch 1all of 6131 admire Latin and Varsity trophies. The jingle of coins and the exchan e of Q hellos can always be heard at our book counter. Left to right: Mary Voe 15011, Patri i L kle ca ynch 15021, Theresa Bellon 1501 J, Kathleen Fitzgerald 15021, R . ose Marie Fortunato 15011, and Mary Luche 15021. Marie Costanza i t , n errupted in her telephone conversation, pertly bids Kathleen Mulligan and Irma Zanella to await their turn patiently. No hard feelings, however, since all come from 503. 16 9 .5 FAMILY CRUSA1 lrHANil'3 C M?C'lN4i OCT POLO 61268.15 FATHUI PATRICK YI'

Miss Hale, our speech teacher and the guiding light of the Dramatic Club productions, suc- cumbed to a heart attack on the morning of October 2, 1952 on her way to school. She had long been the inspiration which prepared Cathedral's speech-minded young women for the world. To those of us who do not remember a time when she was not ready with a helping hand, Miss Hale's passing will, like the passing of all those who have the touch of greatness and graciousness, leave an unfilled niche in the halls of Cathedral.
