We learn of tlze greatness of the past To Ioan McNamara of 505 the Mis- souri Compromise is one of the im- portant steps in our study of American History. In this picture, she explains to one of her interested classmates, Eileen Forhan 505, the facts of the Missouri Compromise. - - On October 24, important members of the U. N. Assembly were well represented by students of C. H. S., Oksana Scehelo, Rose Roan, Marie Dickson, Nicholina Antonsic, Aileen Dengel, Stanislava Biel, Theodora Curione, Joyce VVong, Maui-ine Yee, Each and every hero of the past would be proud of the History Department of Cathedral. Through the efforts of our faculty, the great men of our ancient and modern history are brought vividly to life. XVe mentally cross the Rubicon with Caesar, write the Declaration of Independence with jefferson and suffer all the many hardships of the Civil War with Grant and Lee. Marcella Lane seems to be doing a good job in the his- tory class. The girls are attentive and do not hesitate to answer questions.
