Girls’ Swimming : Women swimmers worked hard all year to build a strong successful team. This hard work paid off in a close meet with their old rival Minnechaug. Although they were narrowly defeated they managed to put forth their best effort against that team to date. Prospects for next season look good with much depth resulting from underclass strength. Under the direction of co-captains Mary Curran and Cathy Wall the team was led to a 10-4 season. A strong event 3 for the team was the 200 meter Medley Relay Yen, composed of Chris Shea, MaryAnne Daly, Maureen Ri ckson . % .- and Cheryl St. Pierre. ' Chery! was high scorer for the team and very strong in the butterfly. The combined aquatic skills of the team members led to fifth place in WMass.
