42 Business Department investigates new professions The business department's main concern this year was to broaden students’ career outlook. Business Communications was added to the curriculum to help students increase their knowledge of business vocabulary. Girls in Office Practice classes gained access to business machines which they will most likely encounter ina working sit uation. Mr. David J. Creighton became part of the department, adding a man’s point of view. A field trip focusing on ‘Careers in Distribution”’ took accounting classes to Holyoke Community College. First hand information on careers was given from people working steadily on the job, to help students alter or finalize their career plans.
