2 1 Full of “High Hopes’, Beth Shea and Pat Veale swing into their rendition with gusto. 2 “What Do You Get When You Fall In Love?”, ask Rose Turcotte and Johanne Godbout. 3 With style and finesse, Bruce Lemieux gives insight to the message of the Minstrel, ‘‘The Threshold of Tomorrow”. 4 In a seemingly effortless manner, Patti Driscoll and John Dillon mesmerize the audience with ‘‘Mock- ingbird’’. 5 Opening the minstrel on a note of song Eileen Butler, Denise Bergevine, Loretta Vecchiarelli and Martha Harrington explain that they have ‘‘Magic To Do.” 6 With a hint of sarcasm, Jack Marrinan expresses his opinion of cheerleaders and ‘‘Football He- roes. ’ 7 Narrator Lisa Barry continues the mood of the Minstrel as she introduces the next act. 8 “Wouldn't It Be Loverly” if we could all do British accents as well as Eileen Cook, Michele Guertin, Steve Dougal, and Jim Buffum and Diane Webber?!

1 Pilate passionately denies his responsibi- lity for the crucifixtion of Christ. 2 The stage is set, the background is laid for Judas’ even- tual betrayal of Christ. 3 Jesus Christ Super- star! 4 ‘‘Hosanna!”’ proclaims the crowd in adoration of Christ as Caiaphas looks on in disapproval. 5 The court jester mocks the divinity of Christ. 6 The three high priests plan to curtail Christ’s activities. 7 The fate of Christ rests in the hands of Judas Iscariot and his cohorts as they debate his fee.

For the first time in the show's history seven narrators guided the production instead of the traditional two. Through various skits the narrators, including seniors Lisa Barry, Frank Fragomeni, and Bruce Lemieux, introduced over 35 numbers. Each skit and song accentuated the show's futuristic theme, “The Threshold of Tomorrow.” Under the direction of Mr. Jean-Pierre Beauregard seniors Jean Butler and Eileen Butler organized the show's production. Senior groups included ‘‘Magic to Do”, ‘High Hopes”, “Wouldn't It Be Loverly”, ‘‘Football Hero’, and “What Do You Get When You Fall in Love?”. Other senior numbers were “Money”, ‘With a Little Bit of of Luck”’, and ‘‘Mockingbird”’. Among the soloists were seniors Tom Hayes singing ‘‘Wishbone”, Colleen Lancaster with ‘‘Put a Little Love in Your Heart’’, Jean Hewlett and ‘‘Somewhere My Love”, Eileen Butler singing “With Everything Changing”, Patricia Hess doing her baton specialty and Tasha Anderson with “‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow”’.
