Every day, Monday through Friday, he keeps a watchful guard over his domain, the CHS parking lot. There, his subjects of varied models and makes wait patiently parked for their drivers. Mr. Krass is recently retired, having served thirty-six George M Frantlekatir) years with the Springfield police 50 Wrona Street force. His residence is a brisk five- Indian Orchard minute walk from his home-away- from-home that was built by the maintanence men to protect him from the elements during the winter months. When asked if he carried a weapon, he replied, ‘‘yup, two of ‘em.’’ He then extended both arms, smiled broadly, and chuckled to himself.
