Seniors pantomime Italian Opera Several students presented Giuseppe Verdi s ‘Il Trovatore”’ for the annual senior opera. The Italian tragedy starred Lee Bennett in the role of Leonora, with Bob Clark as Manrico and Mike Buckley as Count di Luna. The opera was under the direction of Fr. Richard Riendeau. Students spent several months perfecting facial movements and expressions for the pantomime. Theater adopts new casting policy Cathedral High School theater productions took on a new perspective this year with the adoption of the policy of open casting. Throughout the season roles were not restricted to permanent members, and each presentation encouraged a variety of students to participate.
