Arts Night presents many crafts On Practical Arts Night the efforts of more than two months of preparation culminated in an original presentation. The fashion show presented various styles of clothing, modeled by the girls who made them. “ Anything Goes ’71”’ featured outfits which ranged from evening gowns to sportswear. Cars of the future, isometric and technical drawings, and architectural designs were displayed by the Industrial Arts section. Table decorations and settings, as well as the food which was given away as doorprizes each hour, were prepared by the Home Ec classes. The Art Department provided demonstrations of art techniques, including monoprints, wood carving, plastic dry point etching, and hand-made rugs. Linoleum prints were given away upon request of patrons. Completing the night, the photography club presented a display of pictures taken by members, while the radio club set up a ham radio, and both broadcasted and received messages in Morse code. 87
