Judges laud Cathedral Chronicle In keeping with its primary purpose of informing the student body, the Chronicle staff published a paper which received the highest possible ratings from Columbia Scholastic Press, National Scholastic Press, and Catholic Press Associations. Always concerned with improvement, the writers gave wider and more complete coverage to school events. Editorials examined live issues more closely; photos were mostly candids, and there were more human interest stories and sports reporting. Increased use of set-up machines made it possible for all work 4 except the actual printing to be done by the staff. All students who worked on the paper gained practical ex perience in journalism, with the satisfaction of seeing their work in print. @ Se AeverenCeereRRRE 38 Se ae
