Novel Extravaganza subs for traditional Musical Replacing the yearly musical, a Musical Extravaganza which filled the auditorium on two consecutive nights, was staged by members of the band, dancers, vocalists, and majorettes. Serge Prokofiev's production, ‘Peter and the Wof,” choreographed by Janis Mandrus, highlighted the evening. The band furnished a variety of concert music which ranged from classical to contemporary. A casual air pervaded the second half of the program, held in the cafeteria where refreshments were served. Majorettes commanded the audience's attention with special routines Various numbers by other vocalists, dancers, and musicians complemented the atmosphere of the night.
