Sophisticated frosh revert to nursery rhymes The senior class subjected the bumbling frosh to hilarious escapades during the Frosh Day activities in the auditorium. Themes and skits were chosen by the senior homerooms. They included fairy tales, Tarzan and Jane, marching ants, a beauty contest and rubber duckies. Frosh homerooms 250 and 252 were chosen as the best performers and were ordered to clean the senior homerooms 354 and 359. Overall, an atmosphere of fun and frolic prevailed. 74

Groups pictured here are only a few of the many clubs and organizations in which students are active. They range from horseback riding club, through drama, to math club. Among those not pictured are language clubs, FTA, and radio club. La Cofradia tutored Spanish younsters, and in November, the drama club presented Gazebo, its major production. From the nomination of Sr. Eileen Ryan and members of last year’s anti-Communist league, former principal Sr. Mary Eugene received the American Educator’s Principal Award for her lifelong leadership in the field of education.
