NHS inducts new members to Aquinas Chapter The Aquinas Chapter of the National Honor Society inducted its members early in November. Newly elected officers addressed the parents and friends who gathered to view the ceremony. Guest speaker, Dr. George Membrino, Superintendent of Chicopee schools, spoke on the goals of education. NHS, under the guidance of Sr. Rose Carmel, specialized in activities of service. President Francis Pokigo, with vice-president James F. Martin, secretary Barbara Hughes, and treasurer Katherine McClean, made plans for the year. The society gave service at various school functions such as college night and career night. 34
