Sister Catherine Joseph and Mrs. Horber, a Cuban native, taught Spanish history and pronunciation, respectively. French offered a course in Frenc h four this year, and showed filmstrips on French history, giving students a better understanding and background of France. 29

Business students give service The business department provides basic skills and experience needed to enter the business community. Courses are offered in typing, stenography, accounting, data processing, economics and office practice. Business students are responsible for the typing and mimeographing of the daily bulletin. Data processing students prepare the absentee lists, report cards, and schedules. Four listing machines and six calculators, new this year, help students to prepare for a business career. -ouennammmmeetl Premisnieer gi 1 Sophomore Colleen O’Neal concentrates on a typing assignment. 2 Separating carbons in the data processing room is Jocelyn Tetrault. 3 Senior Elaine Scott runs report card verification lists on the counting machines. 4 Business student Mary Hartwell perfects her skill on the printing calculator. 30
