In the season opener the favored team of the league, St. Francis took the game with the score of 27-18 playing an a new court, the West High gym. Playing aggressive ball,Cathedral de- feated a powerful St. Joseph's team 23-13. A hard fought battle which could have ended either way, gave C.H.S. its second Parochial defeat at the hands of Holy Family.
